Easter is coming!

Dates are somehow weird this year - it seems to me that Easter is ridiculously early. Well, technically, it could have been even earlier, so early that it would be over already - the earliest date it can be is March 22. But still, Easter before the end of March? Weird.

Our garden plants are well aware of the early date, though, and they are right on time:

The common German name for daffodils is "Osterglocken" - Easter Bells, as they are usually in bloom around that time of year. Well, ours have definitely gotten it right this year!

Not so nice: the dreaded Daylight Saving Time let's-steal-one-hour-from-everybody-thing happens in the night to Easter Sunday. That will not only mess up my internal clock again (though I feel the time change more in fall, and it's usually worse then), it also means we get to do less of this:

Trust the cat to be a pro at sleeping.

Which is especially nasty if you are planning on hanging out with friends on Saturday and then hanging out with other friends for breakfast on Sunday...

Whatever you are planning for the holidays, I hope you'll have a good time and pleasant weather for it! Blogging will resume next Wednesday, after all the egg-laying hares and other mythical creatures have gotten back to their ordinary lives again.
